Parylene ist leicht und als extrem d\u00fcnne homogene Schicht auftragbar. Der Film ist vollkommen glatt und transparent.\u00a0Es treten w\u00e4hrend der Beschichtung keine unerw\u00fcnschten Effekte, wie Oberfl\u00e4chenspannungen auf.\u00a0So ist die Schicht \u00e4u\u00dferst widerstandsf\u00e4hig\u00a0gegen\u00a0Umwelteinfl\u00fcsse. Sie ist best\u00e4ndig gegen aggressive Medien\u00a0und fl\u00fcssige Kohlenwasserstoffe (Benzin,\u00a0Diesel,Glykol) und kann als Diffusionsbarriere gegen\u00fcber Gasen eingesetzt werden.
